Fiskarheden Timber AB is hiring a sawmill operator

Fiskarheden Timber AB is one of Sweden's largest and most modern privately owned sawmills. We are located just a stone's throw from the Vasaloppet start in Transtrand, in the heart of Dalarna. With around 160 dedicated employees, we are the largest industrial company in the Malung-Sälen municipality.

Every year we produce over 380,000 cubic meters of pine and spruce timber, of which more than 80% is exported to customers around the world. Sustainability permeates our entire operation – from forest to finished product. We are both traceability and forestry certified, and we work long-term to ensure responsible and climate-smart production.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Welcome to become our new sawmill operator at Fiskarheden!

With us, you will be part of an experienced team, where you will work with a range of challenging tasks. The job involves being an operator in the Raw Sorting department with shift work. The working hours are daytime, evening, and one week off (3-week rotating schedule).

Week 1 - Daytime

• Monday-Friday: 05:30-16:00
• Saturday-Sunday: 06:00-18:30

Week 2 - Off week

Week 3 - Evening shift

• Monday-Thursday: 15:55-01:50

QUALIFICATIONS

• We are looking for someone who is driven, proactive, and responsible. You find it easy to work independently during your workday and are an engaged team player.
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, is a requirement.
• We prefer that you have a high school education in a relevant field or what is deemed equivalent, but this is not a requirement.
• Experience from the sawmill industry or other industries is an advantage but not a requirement.
• We want you to contribute to the development of the team for the future.
